Planet 4543 is an immersive interactive media artwork that allows participants to manipulate a visually destroyed planet using custom-built tools. As visitors interact, the graphics and soundscape shift in real time, creating a powerful sensory experience. This project is aimed to encourage people to reflect on environmental destruction and to experience a symbolic healing process of the planet. Published paper at the Creative Award HCI Korea 2022.
Contributions: I led the entire design process and project management, collaborating closely with a back-end sonification developer. I created interactive graphic prototypes in Unity and built physical tools and object interactions using Arduino. I designed iterative versions of the object interface, tested interaction responsiveness, and integrated multi-channel audio to ensure a cohesive audiovisual experience.
